History
By 1925, the automobile had become an essential part of daily life, and in response, the State of Indiana began widening U.S. Route 40 between 1936 and 1943. This new, bustling route quickly became a prime location for businesses, and many motels sprang up along its path, including this one. Built in the early 1950s, the motel was originally named the "40" Motel of Indiana. During its heyday, it was a popular and thriving destination for travelers.
However, as the demand for motels waned and hotels became more popular, this motel eventually closed its doors and was abandoned around 2003. For nearly five years, the building remained empty. In 2008, a close friend of ours—who owned a successful car dealership—decided to purchase the property. Their business thrived here, but by 2012, they chose to relocate, and that’s when we acquired the building.
At the time of purchase, the property was still mostly in its original motel configuration, with only the front office in use. We’ve since worked diligently to renovate and update the entire building to suit our needs. To make the space more functional, we converted many of the motel rooms into garages. Additionally, we recently completed a major renovation of the separate building in the back, transforming it into our mechanic and detail shops.
Our commitment is to maintain this property in pristine condition through continuous upgrades and improvements. Most importantly, we’re here to provide the best vehicles and customer service possible, all within a space rich in history. We hope you can appreciate the unique story of this building as much as we do. Our goal is to support and serve you in every way we can—because nothing is more important to us than sharing the love of our family business with our customers!

Beyond its striking looks and undeniable appeal, this car holds deep sentimental value for our family. It's more than just a vehicle; it's a piece of our story, and it will always have a special place in the home we’ve built.
